London Photoshoot

After the successful shoot at the studio, we've decided to head out to London where we could gather more photos with a scenery for the background. The old church at Dunstan's Hill was a great place as of the mix of greenery and cracked walls, whilst the skyscrapers around the River Thames were ideal for the double exposure effect that we took inspiration from. Foggy weather also helped add in a gloomy effect, which made it a good day for the shoot.

Studio Photoshoot

The shoot went according to plan and we were able to gather a wide range of different poses/shot types. Out of them all I've chosen these as my favourite to implement them into my individual cover.

Photoshoot Callsheet

We've planned to do the Photoshoot for the CD case and Advertisement cover this Wednesday. This way we can gather our photographs before the Christmas holidays on time for when we need to edit the images in the next term.

Advertisement mock

Today in our meeting, we've completed the pitch on Google Slides of our ideas on the digipak and advertisement plan and went on to do some more practice. This time, we each had a go with Adobe Photoshop to create our own, individual advertisements for the music video.

For my design on the top left, I gathered a few images from the web such as skyscrapers, Logic himself, the parental advisory label and a scratch effect to overlay the white spaces of the cover. As it's a mock up I might carry on the style to my final cover.

CD Cover mock

While we've been researching ideas for our single, music video cover, Spencer has been designing the outlines of the digipack. This included a sort of prototype for the front and back of the CD case, and with this we've got an insight to what it'll look like with the photographs and text in place.
