DIGIPAK/AD: Progress - Day 5

Referring back to how I wanted to use something different instead of the same photos, I took inspiration from some of the art that's been done of Logic himself. I decided do a quick sketch with watercolours to get some textures and import it into photoshop where I would be able to experiment with the sketch. For now I've altered the colour/exposure settings and added in the basics, however I'll be further editing the advert to better suit it to the theme of the digipak.

DIGIPAK/AD: Progress - Day 4

Nearing to the deadline, I went back onto the CD to add in all the extra details such as the logos and copyright notice that sits around the outer ring of the disk. I copied the text and changed it up to better suit it to Logic and his partners, VMG, Rattpack etc. I'm happy with the layout and this'll be my final design. Moving on to the Advert, I wanted to do something much more unique as opposed to using the same photos. I'll be experimenting for further development on the AD.

DIGIPAK/AD: Progress - Day 3

These are going to be the final concept of the front of the case. I've added in effects such as the RGB fade on the model and better enhanced the exposure/contrast levels. Some feathering and fading effects in some places are to better link with the dark to light theme. The right has a distorted effect to better complement the whole theme whilst the left one has a more simple, stylish look as of the tree and leaves on the bottom which I think I will go for as my case studies would suggest this.

DIGIPAK/AD: Progress - Day 2

Progress has been good and I've been able to move on to the CD, with the front of the Digipak, I've enhanced it with the dark to bright side in mind. Having a photo we took at London of a tree, I cropped out the branches and fitted it to the right side, behind our model. As for the CD, I went with the simple style of implementing the same cover photo, resizing it and added in a parental advisory on it. I will be further enhancing both next week.

DIGIPAK/AD: Progress - Day 1

On our first day back, we've started to import our model's images into Photoshop for the editing of our digipak. Experimenting with the effects, I've enhanced both the photos with the exposure and contrast levels. As they are dark for the most part, I've set my goal to have the contrast transitioning from dark to light. This also relates to my case study as well as the music video, as this would connote his feelings and troubled mind. An angel on one side and a devil on the other kind of theme.
